PMA weekend...

The PMA was held a the convention centre this weekend... (Every photographers dream!) My cousin Nikala & I decided to go a long for a little look...There was so much to see, in so little time...

I met the lovely Kelly Munce at the Asuka stand... check out her awesome work... http://www.kellymuncephotography.blogspot.com/... and spotted a few other fabulous photog's...

I went out to dinner with some girls from flickr at the Ship Inn - Southbank from our SCPB in Oz group... a few of them had come from all over Australia to go the PMA, so it was awesome to meet up with everyone... I had a great night... here's some pic's... (I'm the one in the red & cream striped top :)

My little guitar player...

This is my eldest son J... he's started lessons on the guitar and is doing very well... his Dad has also joined in on the lessons, so I'm sure there will be a mini band starting up in the household soon ;)... his baby brother N is also taken with the guitar...

Lovely Family...

I travelled down to Southport to photograph this gorgeous family... Little 2 and a half year old GJ would rather be running around, in his car or kicking the soccer ball than getting his photograph taken, I had to be quick off the mark for GJ to look into the camera but I managed to capture him...

Back up and Running...

I have my computer back.... thank goodness :)

I put alot of love into the photo's I take and process... it has been a stressful couple of weeks, i can tell you, while the tech guy rebuilt my computer and saved all my pictures :)... I am very grateful to have had them returned to me in one piece... so I have invested in a new external hard-drive as a back-up...

Now i'm catching up on proofing... and emails...

Below is a picture I processed... I didn't take the picture though... It was part of a group that I'm in on Flickr and we all have one picture to work on sooc, to see how everyone processes their work... This was my take on it!

JUMP!

Below is a picture of my son at the local BMX tracks... he was playing around with his remote control truck and was very excited when it made it over one of the jumps!

On another note, I am having major computer problems... my hard drive decided to crash on me and I am sitting here patiently :) waiting for it's return... so if you have sent me an email... I may not have received it...

24 years of Friendship...

My youngest...

When I not taking photo's of other families, I love to photograph my youngest son... He's the only one in our family (besides me :) who is happy to be in front of the camera... His gorgeous blue eyes are from his Dad's side of the family...

Play Day...

My 5 year old son had a huge play day today with this little guy... I can believe how much energy kids have at this age... they jumped on the trampoline for at least 5 hours, amusing themselves with singing games, jumping ball games and other games that grabbed their imagination... they also dressed up as Batman (Little E) & Superman (my son J) and decided they would see if Superman & Batman (we know he can't fly, but they decided to see for themselves) could really fly by jumping off our rock retaining wall... (our retaining wall isn't that high, so no broken bones :) I was exhausted just watching them....Ahhhh to be a child again....;)

Great Kids!

What a gorgeous day for a photography shoot yesterday... I had a session with the below family at a local park... The boys were such a pleasure to work with... very friendly and willing to try anything I suggested... made my job sooo easy ;)

For you J...

We travelled to Toowoomba for Easter to visit my partners relatives... Our boys were overloaded with chocolate bunnies and giant eggs... I'm sure we'll be eating them til next Easter ;)
